Clear answers before you choose a path

Frequently Asked Questions

Berivoi begins with purpose. These answers explain what each route includes, what it does not include, and when an application or registration is available.

Purpose and entry

Why are you coming?

Can I book accommodation first?

No. A bed is not a reason to come. Choose Serve, Learn, or Attend, then select a real opening, cohort, event, or valid invitation. Accommodation follows acceptance, registration, or approval.

Can I drop in or request an undefined visit?

No. Berivoi does not accept casual tourism, casual drop-ins, or undefined stays. Public visits are tied to a dated event; private visits require specific approval or invitation.

What if no places are open?

Wait for the next defined opportunity. Empty beds do not create capacity. It is healthy for the site to say that no places are currently open.

Why can’t I choose dates first?

Dates only make sense after purpose. Berivoi must know whether you are serving, entering a program, attending an event, or coming through an approved invitation.

Serving

Volunteer Week and staff roles

How long is Volunteer Week?

Exactly one published Friday-to-Friday window. It is normally one time only and ends as scheduled. There is no automatic extension.

Does Volunteer Week make me staff?

No. Completion may support mutual discernment, but a staff role requires a separate listed opening, application, interview, acceptance, and agreement.

What is a staff role?

A fixed-term responsibility with a department, supervisor, both work shifts, defined outcomes, standards, probation, and a fixed end. It is not an indefinite general-helper status.

Does staff service automatically make me a student?

No. Only selected openings may be Formation Fellowship eligible, and successful service creates eligibility and recommendation — never automatic student conversion.

Learning and mentorship

Programs are structured and bounded

Can I apply just to “be a student”?

No. Apply to a named, open True Education cohort with fixed dates, curriculum, capacity, outcomes, price, scholarship rules, and mentorship boundaries.

Do I pay before acceptance?

Normally no. Fit is reviewed first. After conditional acceptance, the applicant signs the covenant and completes the published commitment deposit or payment step.

Does a stay include personal mentorship with Rob?

No public path includes unlimited access to Rob. Mentorship is a scheduled, defined component only where a published program or explicit role says so.

Does a program lead to permanent residence?

No. Student status ends with the program. Long-term community is limited and grows through shared calling, proven character, service, trust, and a separate decision.

Can I extend if I enjoy being here?

Not informally. An enjoyable first stay does not create a right to remain. Every Volunteer Week, staff term, student program, event, and approved visit ends as agreed. Any future step requires a new legitimate opening, application or invitation, acceptance, and agreement.
